摘　　要：《寒夜》描写了抗战时期,一个新型家庭在社会生活重压下是如何破毁的。小说揭示了家庭破毁的社会原因和文化因素,主人翁的悲剧说明,若要争取个人幸福,仅仅有家庭模式的变换是远远不够的。《寒夜》在叙说家庭破毁过程中刻画了人性的诸多方面,展示了"小人物"身上伟大的人性并张扬了女性意识。它反映了"中华民国"一代中下层知识分子的命运,成为一部真正的"平民的史诗"。The novel Cold Night describes how a new type of family during the Anti-Japanese War was broken down under the pressure of social life.It reveals the social causes and cultural factors of destruction of the family,the tragedy of which shows if it is for personal happiness,only the family's transformation is far from enough.In the narrative process of destruction of the family,the novel depicts various aspects of human nature,demonstrates the great humanity of the little man,and publicizes the female consciousness.It symbolically reflects the fate of intellectuals of the middle and lower classes in the Republic of China,and is called a real 'civilian epic'.
