摘　　要：A new species, Spirulina (Arthrospira) bayannurensis B. Sh. Li et C. Qiao sp. nov. was firstly collected from the Lake of Bayannur, Mu Us Sandy Land, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in China on April 30, 1996 The morphological characteristics of the new species are described and illustrated by light micrographs, scanning and transmission electron micrographs. The type specimen of this new species is kept in Herbarium of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University.A new species, Spirulina (Arthrospira) bayannurensis B. Sh. Li et C.
