Growth of centimeter-sized C_60 single crystals

摘　　要：C60 single crystals larger than one centimeter in size are grown with vapor method by nucleation control and by a proper time-dependent temperature process which allows only one nucleus growing larger and larger. X-ray diffraction patterns exhibit the high quality of the sample. As an example of the applications of large single C60 crystals,svnchrotron radiation photoemission spectra are measured to investigate the fine structure of valence bands of C60 crystals.C-60 single crystals larger than one centimeter in size are grown with vapor method by nucleation control and by a proper time-dependent temperature process which allows only one nucleus growing larger and larger.
