摘 要:文中详细介绍了南水北调西线工程的意义、工程简况和规划阶段对调水区工程地质条件的了解。在此基础上对该区可能遇到的地质灾害作了预测和分析。如枢纽工程可能遇到的地质灾害有 :断裂活动与地震灾害、冻土与冻害、坝基坝肩岩体变形破坏、滑坡泥石流灾害。线路工程以深埋、特长隧洞为主 ,可能遇到的地质灾害有 :隧洞围岩变形、活断层与震害、地温热害、涌水突泥 ,以及高地应力和岩爆等。并认为只要加强勘察研究 ,这些灾害是可以克服的。This paper introduced the meaning,chief situations of the engineering,and the understanding of engineering geological conditions in planning stage of Western Route Project for Transferring Water from Southern to Northern China.On basis of these,the paper predicted and analysisted the geological hazards possiblly encountered in region of water transferring.For control projects,the geological hazards may be encountered are:hazards caused by fault activities and earthquakes,hazard caused by permafrost and freeze injury,hazards caused by deformation of dam foundation and abutment,landslides and debrisflows.The route projects are chiefly long tunnels with great burried depth,the hazards may be encountered for them are:deformation and failure of tunnel surrounding rockmass,hazards caused by faults activities and earthquakes,high earth temperature and hot injurg,bursting of high pressure water and mud,high earth pressure and rock blasting,etc.These geological hazard are serious for Western Route Project,but it can be overcome so long as the investigation and exploratory works are strengthened and continued.
