摘　　要：《富兰克林自传》是一个身份建构的神话。它通过对叙事频率和时距等叙事时间的巧妙安排,在文本内外的双重语境中将富兰克林作为印刷人的职业身份、作为作家的精神身份以及作为隐喻国父的文化身份融为不可分割的"三位一体",从而成就了"富兰克林式"的理想身份神话。The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin is a myth of identity construction. Through adept arrangement of the narrative tempo such as frequency and duration,it has converged Franklin s professional identity as a printer,spiritual identity as a writer and cultural identity as a metaphorical national father into an inseparable "trinity" both within and beyond the textual world of the Autobiography,thus constructing a "Franklinian" myth of ideal identity.
