摘　　要：On the northeastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau stands a chain of high mountains called Qilian. For years Qilian Mountains has nurtured different minority nationalities, as well as many rare plants and precious animals. Today local people are making every effort to overcome environmental problems so that their home can keep its charm forever.在青藏高原的东北端,耸立着一片高高的山脉叫做祁连。千百年来,祁连山养育了不同的少数民族,养育了许许多多奇花异草和珍稀动物。今天,当地人民正在做着各种努力战胜环境难题,以使自己的家园魅力长存。
