摘　　要：In her study "Promoting Women's Political Participation during the Period of Economic Transformation in China", Du Jie, from the Institute of Women's Study, analyses the effects of the government's policy in terms of gender equality in local politics and its implementation in Hunan Province.妇女参政问题是一个全球性的问题。全国妇联妇女研究所的资深女研究员杜洁在下文中从性别平等的角度分析了中国近年来妇女参政在农村,特别是湖南农村的发展状况。
