摘　　要：以前的关于《儒林外史》思想的研究多关注儒家思想,而很少有学者对小说中的佛教思想做过多的关注。本文从对人世间苦难的展示和对佛家慈悲为怀的赞许两个方面对《儒林外史》中隐含的佛教思想进行挖掘,以其对《儒林外史》佛教思想的研究能起到抛砖引玉的作用。Previous research on thought in 'The scholars' pay more attention to Confucianism,but few scholars do too much attention on Buddhist thought.This article from showing the human world suffering and Buddhist Compassion two aspects to mine the Buddhist thought implicit in 'The scholars',to play a guiding role for the research on Buddhist thought in 'The scholars'.
