摘　　要：县域历来是一个政治、经济和社会发展相对稳定的地理空间,也是一个以县城为中心、集镇为纽带、乡村为腹地且兼有城乡基本功能的区域经济系统。文章透析了湖南省湘西州县域经济发展的现状和存在的问题,提出了相应的发展方略。A county has always been a geographical region which is relatively stable in political, economic and social development and which is based on the county town, with the county town as its center, and is linked by towns and villages. The paper gives an analysis of the present situation of the county-regional economic development of autonomous prefecture of the Tujia and Miao nationalities of Western Hunan and the problems to be settled and puts forward some strategies to develop the county-regional economy.
