摘　　要：简要讨论了磁光存储的原理,论述了磁光存储介质的共性及其实用化所必须具备的性能。The physical principle of magneto-optical storages was introduced. The common characteristics of magneto-optical storages and the properties for the practical application of the magneto-optical storages were discussed. The prospect for the development of magneto-optical storages was made.
