Multi-Source Thermal Model and Jets Energy Spectrum and Fragmentation Function in High Energy Proton-Proton Collision

摘  要:评述了笔者和合作者以前提出和发展的多源热模型(或称多源理想气体模型),阐述了该模型的基本图像,针对几种物理量的分布规律讨论了发射源的空间分布.在此基础上,用该模型得到的多组分厄兰(Erlang)分布分析了高能质子-质子对撞中形成的喷注的能谱和碎裂函数,模型计算结果与相对论性重离子对撞机上质心系能量为200GeV的质子-质子对撞的实验结果近似符合,表明高能质子-质子对撞中形成的喷注的能谱和碎裂函数服从组分数为1或2的多组分厄兰分布.We present an overview of the multi-source thermal model(or multi-source ideal gas model) suggested and developed in our previous works.The basic picture of the model is described.In the case of considering different quantities with different laws,the corresponding space distributions of the sources are discussed.After the review section,a multi-component Erlang distribution obtained from the model is used to analyze the energy spectra and fragmentation functions of jets formed in proton-proton collision at high energy.The calculated results of the model are approximately in agreement with the experimental data measured in s=200 GeV proton-proton collision at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider.It shows that the energy spectra and fragmentation functions of jets formed in high energy proton-proton collision obey the multi-component Erlang distribution with a component number being 1 or 2.
