聚二甲基硅氧烷微流控通道内温控表面张力微阀的研制

摘　　要：介绍一种在全聚二甲基硅氧烷(PDMS)微流控芯片通道中制备温控毛细管力微阀的简易方法.通过二苯甲酮诱导的光引发聚合接枝反应,在PDMS表面接枝聚丙烯酸(PAA)或温敏高聚物聚N-异丙基丙烯酰胺(PNIPAAm),使高度疏水的PDMS表面改性为亲水(接枝PAA)或温控亲疏水性可调(接枝PNIPAAm).在此基础上,建立了在PDMS通道内的"二步区域接枝法",即在PDMS大部分通道表面引入亲水性PAA,而在需要设置温控毛细管力微阀的部位接枝PNIPAAm,以此在已封合的全PDMS通道内研制了温控毛细管力微阀.通过微型半导体加热/制冷器对微阀温度进行调控,室温时水溶液可以通过微阀;而40℃时,液流的前沿接触到PNIPAAm接枝区后会停止流动,实现了在T型PDMS通道内水溶液流体的简单操控.This article presents a simple approach for preparation of thermoswitchable capillary force valves on full PDMS microfluidic chips.The highly hydrophobic PDMS surface was tailored to hydrophilic or hydrophilicity/hydrophobicity thermoswitchable by surface grafting of poly(acrylic acid)(PAA) or Poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)(PNIPAAm) via benzophenone initiated surface photopolymerization techniques.A thermoswitcable capillary force valve with a hydrophobicity/hydrophilicity switchable PNIPAAm patch in otherwise hydrophilic PAA grafted PDMS channel was designed,and a two-step region-selective grafting method was established to prepare the valve inside bonded PDMS microchannels.With a micro Peltier heating/cooling device used to regulate the valve temperature,aqueous solution was allowed to pass the valve at room temperature while the steam could be stopped at the edge of the PNIPAAm patch that was at 40 ℃.The capability of the developed thermoswitchable capillary force valve for manipulation of aqueous flow was demonstrated on full PDMS chips with a T-shaped micro channel network.
