摘　　要：外汇储备本身是进行经济调节、实现内外平衡的重要手段,即通过一定的外汇储备来应对进出口贸易和金融往来中出现的不时之需。国内外许多学者从不同的角度用不同的方法对外汇储备的宏观经济效应进行了研究,但结论并不统一。对中国而言,大多数观点认为,外汇储备对通货膨胀、国际资本流动和货币政策有着深远影响。同时,外汇储备和宏观经济之间存在着相互的作用,宏观经济状况也能在一定程度上反映我国外汇储备的情况。外汇储备的宏观经济效应需要从整体上来把握。The foreign exchange reserve per se is designated to regulate the operation of economy and to balance the internal and external currency market,i.e.to solve the unprecedented problem which may emerge during the importing and exporting trades by virtue of a certain amount of foreign exchange reserve.Prominent scholars and well-seasoned practitioners have invested a great number of efforts to analyze the macro-economic effectiveness of foreign exchange reserve from different point of views and then established distinct theories on this issue which has sparked lots of controversy.Within context of the theories concluded by the Chinese academics,the opinion in mainstream is that the foreign exchange reserve may exert profound impact on the issues of currency inflation,global capital flows and currency policies undertaken by the authorities of independent countries.Furthermore,there is mutual effect between foreign exchange reserve and macro-economy;the macro-economy could be regarded as a mirror of the status quo of the foreign exchange reserve to a large extent.It should be borne in mind that the economic effectiveness of foreign exchange reserve should be researched on the basis of integral development.
