摘  要:KWL是一种阅读教学策略,它提供学生一个阅读学习的框架,引导学生获取与阅读主题相关的背景知识,激发学生进一步阅读的动机和希望要掌握的内容,最后学生列出所学习的知识点和有待学习的内容。文章介绍了KWL阅读策略的相关研究,阐述其在英语阅读教学中的实施步骤及启示,以期望能提高学生英语阅读能力。KWL is a teaching strategy that first provides a reading framework for the student, and guides the student to acquire the background knowledge related to the reading topic. Then, it motivates the student to do further reading and to list what he has learned and has yet to learn. This paper introduces the relevant researches in regard to KWL strategy, and discusses the steps in applying it to the English reading teaching and its implication, with a view to improving the student’s reading ability.
