摘　　要：从英语形容词的句法功能角度出发,发现英语形容词可以作表语、定语、宾语补足语和主语补足语、状语以及用作独立成分。同时,根据认知语言学对英语形容词进行分类。From the point of the syntactic functions of English adjectives,they can be used as the predictive,the attributive,the object complement,the subject complement,and the adverbial and independent elements.And,English adjectives can be divided into several kinds of adjectives on the cognitive linguistics.
