摘　　要：档案工作具有存史、资政、育人的三大作用,形成了社会发展进程中不可或缺的三大力量。文章对档案工作的作用做了具体分析,分别讨论了其对江苏建设更高水平的小康社会、保存历史文化、为人民服务和传承中国精神的重要性,以使档案工作更好地服务于江苏现代化建设的实践。Archival work have three role of preserving the history, assisting government affairs and educating people, forming an integral part of the three forces in the process of social development. This paper makes specific analysis of the role of archival work, discusses its importance of the well-off society construction of a higher level in Jiangsu, the preservation of historical culture and serving the people and heritage of the Chinese spirit, in order to make archival work better serve the Jiangsu modernization drive.
