汉英象似性研究的不足与出路

摘　　要：在目前的语言象似性研究中,学者们多从形或结构方面论述语言符号的象似性,而很少重视分析单纯符号尤其是音义象似性,在音义象似性的描述上也很少有人注意运用语音学知识。象似性研究中的这一不足,应通过从语音学角度对汉英单纯词音义上的数量象似性、距离象似性、顺序象似性、标记象似性的探究来弥补,这样可以更好地揭示语言的本质特征与认识语言进化与人类文明进化的关系。In the present study of iconicity of languages,most scholars preferred to deal with the iconicity from the angle of morphology or syntactic structure of written language at the expense of proper attention to mono-morphemic words or phono-semantic iconicity and their iconicity examples discussed were hardly described with phonetic subtlety.In this paper,the weak link in the previous iconicity studies was analyzed and commented and the significance and feasibility of phonetic and semantic interpretation of iconicity of phono-semantic words on the basis of principles of quantity,proximity,sequential order,etc.were highlighted.
