上海嘉定法华塔元明地宫清理简报

摘　　要：法华塔坐落在上海市嘉定区嘉定镇南大街登龙桥南(图一),为七级四面砖木结构楼阁式塔,高40.83米(图二)。1996年初,为了配合法华塔修缮工程,上海市文物管理委员会考古部,地面文物部,嘉定区博物馆对法华塔地宫进行了发掘清理,在底层塔心室地下,先后发现了明代和元代两个地宫,共清理出宋元和明代文物近百件(组),现将发掘清理情况报告如下。In January of 1996, archaeologists from CPAM of Shanghai City cleared up the basement of the Fahua Pagoda that was being renovated. They found two closets, one atop another, along with near one hundred pieces or sets of relics from the Song, Yuan and Mingdynasties. The closet of the Ming dynasty was located underneath a large square brick inthe center of the chamber of the pagoda. According to the printed mark on the brick andcoins unearthed, the closet was built in the 34th year of the Wanli reign period (1606). Ityielded a small number of coins, bronze mirrors and so on. Further below the four layers ofstone slabs in the closet was another closet dating from the Yuan dynasty. It housed threerectangular stone boxes each containing Buddha' s remains and other relics such as stoneicons, bronze scent burner and pot, porcelain basin, minor Asoka iron pagoda together witha large number of jade, agate and crystal ornaments, and finally, one hundred kg. of bronzecoins.
