A Reviow of Francois Furet's Historical Studies of the French Revolution

摘　　要：This article introduces the new explanations of the French Revolution by Francois Furet and argues that Furet has discovered certain research achievements made by earlier historians who have been ignored by other scholars. Furet has questioned some established viewpoints and by doing so,has widened the sphere of studies of the French Revolution. But Furet’s research has its own severe defects.
