摘　　要：本文回顾了民族人口学在中国的创建与走向成熟的过程，对民族学与人口学的交叉领域进行了开拓性的研究，如民族繁荣的科学概念与量化及各民族的实践；各民族人口超常规增长的社会变动、自然变动的量化与分析；根据各民族人口的特点设置的预测参数、方案与５０ 年的发展趋势；赶超汉族水平的惊人成就与存在的问题；各民族人口生活质量的运算方法与量化；各民族文化教育程度综合均值的比较及文盲金字塔分析新方法的建立等。This article retrospects the ethnic demography's process from being established to getting mature in China; makes initiative researches into the overlapping fields between ethnology and demography, such as the scientific concept of ethnic prosperity, its quantitization and various ethnic groups' practice; the quantitization and analysis of the social and natural changes of the abnormal growth of various ethnic groups' populations; the setting of forecast parameters and scheme according to the population characteristics of the various ethnic groups and the development trend during the fifty years since the founding of the PRC; the Ethnic minorities' tremendous achievements in catching up with and surpassing the Han ethnic group and the present problems; etc. and approaches the calculating method and quantitization of the living quality of various ethnic groups' populations, the comparison research in comprehensive averages of various ethnic groups' cultural-educational levels, the establishment of the new method for analysing illiteracy pyramid, etc..
