宰兽簋铭略考

摘　　要：1997年8月,周原博物馆征集了1件西周铜簋。此簋是扶风县段家乡大同村农民于同年7月下旬在生产时挖出的。我们闻讯前往考察了铜簋出土现场。大同村的西侧是宝鸡峡主干渠南北流向经过的地方。这里有一西周文化遗址。干渠两侧的断崖上暴露着不少大小不等的西周时期灰坑,内含陶片、杂骨、碎石等。陶片中可辨认的有绳纹罐、鬲和素面束腰豆等。从器形看多具西周中晚期特征。主干渠的西侧断崖上还暴露着3座西周墓葬,从分布走向看。In August 1997 the Zhouyuan Museum, Shanxi province acquired a bronze gui vessel,which is believed to be from a Western Zhou tomb. This short vessel on a square stand hasa broad belly flanged with ears in the form of animal heads. The inside of its lid bears aninscription of 129 characters in 12 columns, which carries the hitherto most detailed refer-ence to the then system of nominating officers, including the nominating ceremony and ad-dress given by the Zhou king. The inscription is also wonderful work of calligraphy impres-sive for its harmoniously arranged characters in various sizes.
