摘　　要：夏尔·波德莱尔和埃德加.爱伦·坡的关系不是抄袭、模仿与被模仿的关系,而是相似性的关系。他们在创作主题和美学思想上都有惊人的相似之处。这种相似之处来源于共同的个人经历和人文环境。这种现象在文学史上可谓独一无二。他们是文学史上的双胞胎。波德莱尔发现了坡,更发现了自己。Charles Baudelaire is neither a plagiarist nor an imitator as some critics propose.He is simply similar to Edgar Allan Poe in themes and aesthetic pursuit dominating their literary creation.This unique similarity results from their same life experiences,cultural climate and perseverant pursuit of beauty.They are like a twin in world literary history.Baudelaire discovers Poe,and at the same time discovers himself.
