摘　　要：在实际操作 AL EPH 5 0 0系统编目模块的基础上 ,对其功能强大 ,易用性好的优点与特色进行了概括 ,同时分析了该编目模块在编目与检索中存在的各种缺陷。针对目前存在的 3 2 7字段限制、多音字提示、数据格式转换、多种自动生成功能、编目窗与单册管理窗的链接 ,检索点数量及准确度等问题 ,讨论或提出了解决方法。ALEPH5 0 0系统编目模块中某些功能的局限性 ,与中西语言特征的差异有关 ,也与西方图书馆界对原始编目的需求较少有关 ,因为西方国家较好地实现了书目资源共享 ,其网络条件也比中国好 。The features and advantages of catalogue module are summarized and the problems of its application are also discussed based on the use of ALEPH 500 integrated system in cataloging. ALEPH 500 is powerful and amiable, but there are still some functional limitations in the catalogue module of ALEPH 500, such as, limited 327 field, unclear polyphone prompting, different data format in conversion, lack of multiple auto-generating function, weak links between catalogue and item management windows, and so on. The solutions to the above problems are discussed or suggested. The functional limitations of ALEPH 500 integrated system are related with the differences between Chinese and western languages. It is also related with the less requirement of original cataloging in western libraries, because they can share catalogue resources and have more convenient networks in western countries than in China.
