高校馆藏外文期刊利用率的实证研究

摘　　要：以读者为观察对象的实证研究表明,目前高校馆藏外文期刊利用情况不容乐观,读者对其关注度偏低。深入分析发现,从读者需求角度来看,馆藏外文期刊利用率主要受到学历和学科因素的影响,外语水平和兴趣爱好的影响次之。从服务供给角度来看,期刊的可查性、全面性与便利性,种类配置、查阅流程与排架等的合理性,都是影响利用率的重要因素。为此,高校图书馆应从提高人性化管理水平,开发多种使用途径,不断发掘新的读者群体等方面入手,大力提高馆藏外文期刊的利用率。Based on the observation on readers,the research showed that the collection of foreign journals of university libraries were not well utilized and not received enough attention from the readers.A deep analysis from the perspective of readers'demand showed that,the majors influencing factor of the utilization of foreign journals were the academic degree and the major of the readers;the minor ones were their proficiency of foreign language and personal interest.From the perspective of the service provider,important influencing factors included the accessibility,variety,convenience and the rationality of categorization,search and shelving.Therefore,in order to make foreign journals better utilized,the university libraries should make efforts to make management more userfriendly,develop new ways of utilization,explore new readership,etc.
