摘　　要：察罕为元代著名回回政治家、史学家。祖籍西域板勒纥城。1221年成吉思汗西征时，其父伯德那举族归降，徒居解州。察罕一生博学强记，通诸国文字。仁宗即位，辞中书参知政事，进平章。他为官清廉，晚年居德安白云山别墅，因以白云为号，又踢姓白氏。曾译《贞观政要》、《帝范》为蒙文。又译蒙文《脱必赤颜》为汉文《圣式开天纪》，著有《历代帝王纪年纂要》、《太宗平金始末》等书。Cha Han was one of the famous Hui's politicians nad historians. His an cestral home was Banlehe in Xiyu area. When Chinggis Khan went on an expedition toward the western area of his territory in 1220, his father BoDena moved away to another place named Xiezhou after surrendering to the Mongolians with all his clansmen. Cha Han had wide learning and ar etentive memory and mastered seueral foreign languages. When Ren zong succeeded to the throne, he was offered. an official post Zhong Shu and then promoted as PingZhang so that he participated in government and poli tica1 afairsBeing free corruption, he lived in Baiyun Mountain villa.B.i Shi was granted to him as his sec0nd name for his alternative namewas Bai Yun.He translated the books Zh8ng Guan Zheng Ya0 and Di Fan int0Mong0l and Tuo Bi Chi Yan in Mong0l int0 chinese books such as ShengWu KaiTian Ji and Tai Z0ng Ping Jin Shi Mo.The b0ok he wr0te is Li DaiDi Wang Zuan Yao.
