摘　　要：以比较研究的方法 ,从体育商业化、职业运动的国际化、有代表性的体育体制、北欧体育的特征和以英国为代表的传统体育大国的发展特点 5个方面着手分析 ,指出体育运动的发展与社会、经济、文化的大背景有内在的关联。国外在体育现代化的发展中已积累了丰富的经验 ,为中国现代化条件下体育发展提供了有益的启示。In this article,a comparative study was made in the following 5 aspects,such as sports commercialization,internationalized professionalism,the typical sports systems,features of Northern European sports and the characteristics in the development of traditional western sports powers typically like Britain.The auther held that the development of sports movement was inherently linked with some specific social,economic and cultural factors.The Chinese sports development,on the background of the social modernization in this country,can draw many lessons from the foreign experience in sports modernization.
