摘　　要：80年代回顾与90年代展望80年代的美国经济存在着两个具有鲜明反差的特点。一方面“里根经济学”创造了和平时期经济扩张的最佳纪录,美国经济已持续增长8年之久;另一方面自1985年以来美国在国际上的经济地位发生了某些戏剧性的变化。最明显的一个是由净债权国变为净债务国,净债务已从1985年的1074亿美元上升到1988年的5300亿美元,占美国国民生产总值的10%;The US economic position in the West during the 1990s will continue to be weakened relatively. However, the US superiority vis-a-vis territorial landmass, resources, and its enterprising spirit and realistic approach to things will continure to maintain its position as the No. 1 economic power for an extended historical period. Yet America's fight to protect such a position will be arduous both at home and abroad.
