摘　　要：本文把语言放到使用语言的实际环境中去观察分析,探讨语言使用者、语言环境和语言交际功能之间的相互关系,从而揭示出产生和制约英语中省略结构的若干规律,并对其在不同语域中的具体应用有一个较为理性化的认识.This paper observes and analyzes language in terms of the actual language contextswith a view to inquiring into the mutual relationship among the user of language,language context and the communicative function of language.The author thus sumsup several laws producing and governing the elliptical structure in English and a fair-ly rational understanding of its actual applications in different registers.
