摘　　要：党的十八提出全面建成小康社会的五位一体总布局,城镇化建设目标艰巨而紧迫。我国城市化建设虽然取得巨大成就,但也存在着诸多问题。我国目前还没有一套科学的、完整的、系统的、公认的、可检测的城市可持续发展指标体系,而主要发达国家城市可持续发展已有成熟的经验和标准,并且在国际标准化领域达成了共识。我国急需在城市可持续发展方面加强标准化工作,参考国际和主要发达国家城市可持续发展标准化成果,建立符合中国特色社会主义需要的城市可持续发展标准体系,助推我国城市化进程的科学发展。The 18th CPC National Congress puts forward the overall deployment of "Five in One"to establish an all-round well-off society,and the goal of urbanization is urgent and form idable.Having achieved great achievements in urbanization,China still face many problems.There is no a scientific,complete,systematic,recognized,testable index system for urban sustainable development in China currently.The developed countries have the mature experience and standards,which have reached a consensus in international standardization field.So we need strengthen our urban sustainable development work.With the scientific guidance of our Communist Party and our government,we desperately needs to refer to the achievements and experience of major cities of developed countries on the urban sustainable development,so as to develop a standard system that meets the needs of our socialist country with Chinese characteristics,and to promote the scientific development of our urbanization.
