摘　　要：罗马时期埃及的奴隶制颜海英在古代埃及奴隶制研究中，有一些问题因为资料的局限一直难有突破，如关于奴隶的术语、奴隶制存在的具体形式、奴隶劳动在社会生产中的地位，以及奴隶与其他劳动者之间的差别，等等。本文试图以纸草文献相对丰富的罗马时期为研究对象，对上述问...Abstract This paper aims to explore the role of slavery in Rome Egypt based on the historical data.After clarifying the terms related to slaves,the author analyzes the sources and social economic status of the slaves.The major points supplied by the author are as following:compared with the Pharaonic and Ptolemaic periods,the slavery in Rome Egypt got its highest development,but it was still limited,and the role of slaves in economic life was very diverse depending on time and space,and so were their life circumstances.The author thinks that the local land system of this period blocked the further development of the slavery,which showed a trend of more strict bandage of the labors on the lands.In short,the special historical and economic background of ancient Egypt means that slavery could never take the classical way of development and reach that peak.
