中国文学史研究的新成果和局限──简评章、骆主编的《中国文学史》

摘　　要：本文认为复旦本《中国文学史》开创文学史研究的新局面，在学术上获得突出的新成就，应充分肯定，同时它的不足之处也值得探讨。中国哲学与文学的关系，佛教文化对中国文学的全面、重大的影响，充分全面吸收学术界新成果包括对科举制度的新认识和多角度、多层次体会和认识伟大作品的成就与意义，是20世纪文学史研究界普遍性地显得不足的局限，本书也未能避免。This essay points out that 'A Literary History China'(Fudan University Edition) has taken on a new aspect of studying literary history and gained excellent academic achievements which are to be fully recognized. But its deficiencies should be examined as well. In the field of studying the literary history of the 20th century,there are four common limitations,from which the present edition is not free,namely,inadequacies in dealing with (1) the relationship between Chinese philosophy and literature; (2) the all-round and important influence of Buddhist culture on Chinese literature; (3)how to fully absorb new academic achievements,including those in understanding the imperial examination system in a new light; and (4)how to appreciate the achievements and meanings of great works from different angles and in different depths.
