摘　　要：郭店墓地位于湖北省荆门市沙洋区四方乡郭店村一组,南距楚故都纪南城约9公里,207国道经墓地东侧约1公里处南北延伸,西与江陵川店镇豪林村毗邻。整个墓地坐落在一高出周围地面约3～5米的土岗上。Lying at Guodian village in the Shayang district of Jingmen city are dozen or so smalland medium-sized tombs at a distance of 9 km to the north of Jinancheng,the old capital of the Chu State. They join with cemeteries at Guojiagang, Jianshan, Fengjiagang and Daxuejiawan into a huge group of Chu tombs. The robbery in August and October of Cu Tomb 1 resulted in the partial loss of funerary objects. A rescue excavation was conducted by the archaeologists from the Museum of Jingmen City.The well-preserved furniture include a coffin and a coffin chamber,and between the two.a side box and a head box. Large amounts of funerary objects unearthed include ritual bronzes, daily utensils, weapons, horse and chariot fittings, musical instruments, tools, ornaments and inscribed bamboo slips. Many of them exhibit an excellent craftsmanship,a big variety and a unique form. The most striking of them are inscribed bamboo slips, whose number,despite the robbery,is still bigger than any yield from a single Chu tomb. The rich content has been identified as a number of ancient writings,Confucianist or Taoist,which either contains a few chapters not present in modern versions,or ,when contents are same, differs diametrically from the latter in terms of composition and sequence.
