摘　　要：本文试图认识伊斯兰教对伊斯兰国家现代化进程的影响和作用。文章先对伊斯兰教与现代化的关系进行探讨，从现代化的两个基本特征入手，认为宗教与现代化问题复杂多变、含糊不定；提出伊斯兰教与现代化的关系是两者外部对立而内在统一的观点。再接着阐述伊斯兰教对现代化的历史回应，并从中概括出三个值得反思的问题，以期有利于对现代化进程中的伊斯兰教的理解和评价。最后从五个伊斯兰国家的历史和现状着眼，指出伊斯兰教作用或影响其国家现代化进程的程度是不同的。This paper discusses the influence of Islam on the modernization process of the Islamic Countries. Based on an analysis of the two basic characteristics of modernization, the author first analyses the relationship between Islam and modernization,holding that this is a complex,changeful and ambiguous issue,and that the relationship between Islam and modernization is a relationship of external opposition and internal unity. The author also discusses the historical response made by Islam to the modernization process and draws attention to three crucial questions for discussion. In the concluding part of the paper,the author points out, based on a case study of five Islamic countries,the varying degrees of influence of Islam on the modernization in different countries.
