摘　　要：在中国改革与发展取得重大成就的同时，确有“肤浅”发展问题，中国需要进入深度发展时期。深度发展，是一种真实、全面而持久的发展。深度发展不是见物不见人的单纯经济增长，不是急功近利的财富聚集，不是扩大差距的区域分化，更不是一时繁荣的包装和显示。深度发展是经济能力、经济效率的发展，是经济制度、经济秩序的发展，是以人为目的的全面社会发展，是社会内在自生的发展。The article raises the question of China needing deepened development through observing the deepening process studies of international social development theory according to the superficial problems appeared in China's development and reform process.The article holds the view that deepened development is not simply economic growth,accumulation of wealth, deepening of differentiation among regions, and not the package and exibition of temporary prosperous. Deepened development is the development ofeconomic capability and economic efficiency, the development of economic system andeconomic order, as well as the overall social development taking human being's development as its purpose, and the development of the social internal creation.
