ON ECONOMIC STRUCTURAL ADJUSTMENT IN AFRICA SOUTH OF THE SAHARA IN 1980S

摘　　要：非洲的经济改革和调整已经进行了整整10年。在这10年中,为了摆脱严重的经济危机,越来越多的非洲国家走上了经济“结构调整”之路。然而,这种主要由世界银行。Africa's structural adjustment and reform has been going on for ten years, but without much effect. It may de said that African programmes for structural adjustment have al'ready failed. In spring of 1989, the UN Economic Commission for Africa published an 'African A1ternative to Structural Adjustment Programme', which is feasible theoretically on the whole as it conforms to African econo- mic structure at the present stage. If the African governments and people carry on the reform in accordance with the above-mentioned Programme, and ?f at the same time the international community endorses full understanding and renders them adequate support, the economic revivement and expansion in Africa is quite hopeful in the coming decade of 1990s.
