摘　　要：欧美高校的社会服务职能、独立自主的办学权和自由平等的服务理念为高校图书馆社会服务提供了发展机遇与条件,牵引着高校图书馆社会服务逐渐步入稳定的发展阶段。欧美高校图书馆健全的法规保障、开放的服务理念、完善的服务体系、周至的服务方式值得我国高校图书馆参考借鉴。The function of social service, the autonomy of higher education and the service idea of freedom and equality provide Euramerican university libraries with opportunities and power of social service, and lead it to a stage of steady development.In managing our university libraries, we may learn from their excellent legislation, open service idea, perfect service system and thorough service mode.
