摘　　要：Grice所创立的会话隐涵理论,经过Levinson等语用学者的补证近期取得了新进展。本文对这一理论的形成与发展过程及其所补证的新原则作了详细阐述,并在此基础上展开讨论,指出新会话隐涵理论具有更大解释力,对于从新的视角认识语义学和语用学的关系及言语交际的本质将产生深刻影响。The neo-Gricean theory of conversational implicature has developed from the program of conversational implicature originally formulated by H. P. Grice. This paper is intended to provide an overall account of the neo-Gricean theory. The author describes how and why it was developed and then presents annotated versions of the new principles that make up the neo-Gricean theory. Finally the author argues that the theory throws new light on the relationship between pragmatics and semantics, the explanatory power of pragmatics, and the nature of verbal communication.
