摘　　要：所谓"小主语是动词性的主谓谓语句"是指大主语由名词性词语充当,小主语由动词性词语充当,小谓语由形容词性词语或动词性词语充当的一类主谓谓语句.This paper intends to examine such sentences as 'Ni shuohua tai kuai' and 'Ta shuohua bu xidoxin', which have been traditionally regarded as sentences of the Predicate-Subject + Predicate Type. It attempts to draw a distinction between them via transformational analysis, showing that they are only superficially similar but different in nature. It further provides a rationale for this distinction by a scrutiny of the semantic features of the main words in the predicate via componential analysis.
