摘　　要：伊斯兰原教旨主义(Islamic Fundamentalism)也许是最近十多年来新闻媒介与各种国际问题的研究报告中使用最为频繁的词汇之一,尤其是冷战结束以来,随着苏联威胁的消除以及伊斯兰原教旨主义活动趋于激烈,一些人更把伊斯兰原教旨主义视为世纪之交最为危险的意识形态与政治运动。然而当人们起劲地谈论伊斯兰原教旨主义时,却似乎没有注意,伊斯兰原教旨主义究竟意指什么?它的内涵、它的表现形式究竟如何?它对穆斯林国家、对国际社会究竟有怎样的冲击?无论是为了理解中东穆斯林国家的现状及其演变,还是为了形成有效的外交政策,显然都有必要对这些问题进行深刻的关注与严肃的探讨。Islam Fundementalism is one of the very important political forces in the Middle East Moslem countries. Over a long period of time, people have tended to observe it quite superficially to the neglect of its real connotation. Thus not only leading to one-sided knowledge and judgement of the Islam Fundemen-talism, but resulting in ambiguity and wavering on taking counter-measures. Tooday as the Cold War has ended and activities of Islam Fundementalism are becoming ever acute, it seems ever more imperative to make a more profound research, particularly to make a careful definition and analysis on its conception, manifestation and true influences. This is the only practical way for us to take hold of the political changes in the Middle East and the movements of Islam Fundementalism as well as to formulate foreign policies in dealing with the situation. It is really too indiscreet if one views Islam Fundementalism indis-crimately as a sort of menace.
