摘　　要：1993年是中东和谈史上极不平凡的一年。阿拉伯和以色列在原有基础上继续进行双边谈判和扩大的五个工作小组的多边谈判,双边和多边谈判交叉进行,互相呼应,互相促进,逐渐深入,各方态度更趋灵活、务实。阿、以双方经过22个月的艰苦谈判,终于使中东和平进程取得重大进展。1993 was a very extraordinary year in the history of Middle East Peace-Talk. The principal reasons for the breakthrough achieved in the talk were as follows: One, the dramatic changes taking place in both the international and regional situations had created favourable conditions for the b(?)eakthrough; Two,the previous ten rounds of Arab-Israeli bilateral negociations had laid foundations for the success; Three, the key of the breakthrough laid in mutual needs on both sides; Four, the US and other quarters concerned played a significant role of mediation. The breakthrough in the Middle East Peace Talk has produced the following important impacts: First, it helps relaxation of the regional situations, gives impetus to an all-round settlement of the Arab-Israeli conflict,and further promotes the Middle East peace process; Second, it has further strengthenned the dominant position of the US in the Middle East; Third, it helps promote the regional economic development; Fourth, it helps improve relationship between Israel or Parlestine and other countries in the region.
