摘　　要：19世纪中叶后。法国人口增长趋于缓慢,有的年份甚至出现了负增长,与此同时,经济继续发展。为满足国家现代化建设对劳力的需要,在家庭政策尚未出台的背景下,引进外国劳工殊为必要。本文专就移民的原因、规模、特点和影响谈点一孔之见。This article first makes an examination of the relations between population growth and economic development in France from the early 19th century to the end of the Second World War, and argues that the slow rate of population growth arrested economic development. It also makes inquiry into the problems of immigrants, the direction of their movement and their employment, and concludes that immigrants promoted population growth and encouraged French economic development.
