摘　　要：“现代化”的提法从被批判到为社会所接受,说明了学术的进步。不过对什么叫“现代化”?“现代化”的具体含义,它的科学界限是什么等等,专家们的提法和理解却是各各不同的,有人把“资本主义的发展”理解为现代化,也有人把“工业化”或经济的自然增长与“现代化”划了等号,更有的人认为“近代化”,或什么“近现代化”等就是现代化。What is the Modernization? It is a means for economic development and social progress of a country in modern time, especially after the World War II . The Latin American Modernization is a means for 'Economic Change' and 'Big leap Forword' from a Colonial or Semi - Colonila Economy to Monopoly capitalism. But, the Modernization is not a revolutionary means. It would not change the nature of a society-There are a lot of problems in modern Latin America. So we see the Modernization more developed and the problems much worse because most achievements of the Modernization have been monopolized by the Capitalist class.
