摘　　要：半个世纪的历程──中国与联合国关系回顾曲星ＡＨａｌｆＣｅｎｔｕｒｙｉｎＲｅｔｒｏｓｐｅｃｔ──ＲｅｌａｔｉｏｎｓｂｅｔｗｅｅｎＣｈｉｎａａｎｄｔｈｅＵｎｉｔｅｄＮａｔｉｏｎｓ￥ＱｕＸｉｎｇＢｅｉｎｇｏｎｅｏｆｔｈｅｍａｉｎｎａｔｉｏｎｓｔｏｈａｖｅｃ...AbstractBeing one of the main nations to have contributed to the victory of the World WarⅡand tothe founding of the United Nations,China was however far from being treated as a real perma-nent member of the Security Council from 1945 to 1949.But what is more absurd is that the gov-ernment of the People’s Republic of China which effectively controlled more than 90%of the ter-ritory and of the population of China since 1949 was refused to the United Nations for 22 years.This bitter experience made China very doubtful about the peace keeping role of the United Na-tions. Even after the restoration bf its rights in UN in 1971,China still cosidered this organizationas nothing more than a tribune of harangues on international issues. That’s why in 1970s Chinaonly partially participated in the activities of the UN.It’s just from the beginning of 1980s thatChina comes to realize that ″ the world needs the United Nations″.A half century’s relationshipbetween China and UN tend to prove that the participation of China is indispensable for both theUN and China if the UN wants to really do something to safeguard the world peace,and if Chinawants to play its role in the world affairs as a real big power.
