摘  要:2004年初,世界上第一台可变频变压器(Variable frequency transformer,(VFT))在加拿大魁北克成功地正式投入运行,为实现加拿大魁北克—美国纽约大电网之间的柔性异步联网,核心装备是100MW新型可变频变压器(VFT)。VFT是国际上第四代FACTS新技术,是新型旋转型控制器,是"面—面"式异步联网关键设备,是集成创新成果,是智能电网的新型技术设备。基于对VFT的理论分析、本文提出VFT的设计理念,并对研制VFT的技术进行探索,同时探讨在我国研制新型VFT装置的创新思路和方向。The world’s first variable frequency transformer(VFT) for bulk system power transfer between large asynchronous power grid has been succssfully installed、tested and commissioned on the Hydro-Quebec TransEnergie(HQTE) system and it started commercial operation in early 2004.Variable frequency transformer(VFT) is a controllable bidirectional transmission device that can transfer power between asynchronous networks.It realizes an asynchronous networks link between the Hydro-Quebec TransEnergie(HQTE) and the New York TransEnergie networks.The core technology is the 100MW variable frequency transformer(VFT).The VFT is the new technology on FATCS and the new equipment on smart grid.Base on the theory on the VFT,this paper gives an overview of the electromagnetic design concept of the VFT.It carries out exploration the manufacture technology on VFT.This paper presents the innovation and new direction on develop VFT in our country.
