Under low-cyclic horizontal loading, three recycled concrete multi-ribbed composite walls(composed of 100%,50%,0 recycled aggregate) are studied in this paper. The seismic behaviors of recycled concrete multi-ribbed composite walls, such as the failure patterns, hysteretic loop, ductility, deterioration of stiffness and energy dissipation, etc.,are examined.Finally,tri-linear retrograde restoring force model of the recycled concrete wall is established. The test results indicate: the failure pattern of the multi-ribbed wall using recycled concrete is shearing failure;the maximum horizontal bearing capacity of the recycled concrete multi-ribbed wall, composed of 50% recycled aggregate,is no less than the natural concrete wall, however, the bearing capacity of the wall, composed of 100% recycled aggregate,is lowered by 18%;ductility factors increase as the replacement rate of recycled aggregate increase;the three multi-ribbed walls have no difference in energy dissipation. This study concludes that the recycled concrete multi-ribbed wall, whose displacement rate is 50%,has better seismic properties and is quite feasible for practical civil engineering;the recycled concrete multi-ribbed wall, whose displacement rate is 100%,should be used carefully.
