摘　　要：下一代网络的概念已经提出多年,业界有诸多不同的理解和解释。为了加快NGN的研究和标准制定工作的进程,ITU在2004年年初召开关于NGN的会议上,给出了NGN的定义并推出了12个标准建议草案。本文对NGN的定义和部分标准建议进行介绍。The concept of the next generation network has already proposed for several years, experts in this field have a great deal of different understandings and explanations. In order to accelerate the process of the research and formulation of NGN standard, the definition of NGN has been given and 12 standard suggestions drafts have been put forward at the meeting about NGN, which ITU held at the beginning of this year. This text has introduced the definition of NGN and some standard suggestions.
