摘  要:湖南泥盆纪沉积盆地的演化与层序地层沉积模式牟传龙(地矿部成都地质矿产研究所)层序地层学的诞生,给沉积地质学研究领域注入了新的研究思路和方法,迫使人们不得不去重新认识地质历史中的一些地质现象和问题。“层序地层学”的创立被地质学家称为地学中的一次里程碑事...On the basis of the detailed studies of sedimentary characteristics and tectonic patterns of the Devonian strata,the author proposes that the Devonian sedimentary basins in Hunan may be assigned to intraplate extensional basins which were developed from foreland basins,and experienced four stages of evolution. (1)The foreland basin infilling(Pragian to early Eifelian) During the stage,the deposition in the sedimentary basins in the study area was dominated by fluvial rejuvenation.The strata consist of the sediments in the Yuankou and Banshan Formations including quartzarenite,quartzitic conglomerate,gravelly quartzarenite,lithic quartzarenite,siltstone,muddy siltstone and silty mudstone with tabular cross bedding,trough cross bedding,wedge shaped cross bedding,horizontal bedding and plant remains. (2)The sedimentary basin formation(middle Eifelian to early Givetian) The sedimentary basins progressively became ramps during the Tiaomajianian(Middle Devonian)because of the infilling,denudation and planation of the basins.The valid accommpdation space of the basins was mainly controlled by sea level changes.During the stage,the basins passed from terrigenous clastic sea basins(Tiaomajianian)into united shallow carbonate sea basins(Qiziqiaoan). (3)The platform and interplatform basin formation(middle and late Givetian to Frasnian) The NE elongated uplifted and subsidence areas were formed by the intense extensional faulting and left lateral strike slip faulting of the basal syngenetic faults including Lengshuijiang Longsheng fault zone,Qinzhou Lingshan fault zone,Wuchuan Sihui fault zone,Yangjiang Guangzhou fault zone and Lishui Haifeng fault zone,along which the NE aligned deep water strike slip basins such as Xinhua Chengbu and Lingshan Hengyang interplatform basins were arranged on the carbonate shelves in the study area.The distortion bending of the above mentioned faults along the strike was responsible for the S type alignment of the basins.The carbonate platforms were formed in the com
