摘　　要：本文介绍的是夏龙江下游的土著民族的起源与现代生活状况。他们是女真人的后代，曾经是中华民族大家庭的成员，是黑龙江下游的真正主人。现在他们的生活状况如何？在水天一色的黑龙江入海口，在黑龙江下游的沼泽、密林中，土著人辛勤地劳作着。他们从事渔猎生产。他们对外国人说俄语。除了尼夫赫语属古亚细亚语之外，其余几个民族——那乃人（赫哲人）、乌尔奇人、乌德盖人、奥罗奇人、奥罗克人全操满语，属满—通古斯语族。This article gives an account of the origin and modern life of the aboriginal nationalities living on the lower reaches of the Heilongjiang River. These a-boriginal nationalities are the descendants of Nhahen,and the former members of thegreat family of nationalities in China formerly true masters of the region. Over a hun-dred years ago two unequal treaties,Sino- Russian Treaty of Aihui and Sino- Rus-sian Treaty of Beijing,incorporated their living region into Russian territory,so thatthey became foreigners. What about their state of affairs now? They are engaged inproduction of fishing and hunting, working hard on the estuary of the HeilongjiangRiver and in the swamps and the thick forests on the lower reaches of the HeilongjiangRiver. They speak the Russian language to other nationalities- Their Manchu-Tun-gusig, including Nanaits (Hezhe ), Ulchis, Udegeians, orochis and oroks, speak theManchu language,but Nirkhs speak a Paleoasiatic Language.
