摘　　要：隆昌地处成渝铁路、成渝高速公路中段,素有“川南门户”之称。改革开放以来,全县以经济建设为中心,以“稳粮增收奔小康”为目标,取得经济建设和社会各项事业的全面发展。目前,县委县府还带领全县人民实施“构建中等市,营建卫星城,推进大开放”的战略,努力发挥地缘优势,发展名特产品,发掘旅游资源,把隆昌建设成为内陆对外开放。Longchang,located halfway of ChengduChongqing railway line and 'entrance to southem Sichuan'. Overall economic and social development has been achieved since 1978 when the goals were set to ensure stable grains output, increase farmers' income and make a wealthy living standard reality to the common. At the present the people in this county are working arduously to realize their new aims of building their town into' a medium-sized city,a satellite city, an open city'. They will exploit their regional endowments,develop celebrated products and enrich tourism resources so as to place their county among one of the openest in the inland.
