摘　　要：People will never forget a scene at the First National Conference of Model Workers held in 1959,when the No.1 blast furnace of the No.1 Steelworks under the Benxi Iron & Steel Corporation was named a national standard bearer of the Red Flag,with its productivity ratio having won the national championship.The story was reported by the People’s Daily,Soviet Women’s Journal and Benxi Daily.As the young leader of the cited team of furnacemen, Li Yiyi became known to all. Time flies by and 34 years have elapsed since then.
